Housecall Pro Brings Home Service Pros Together Nationwide for Inaugural Trades Thursday

A new annual tradition spanning 15+ regional hubs and locally hosted events will mark the nation’s largest gathering of trades professionals

DENVER, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Housecall Pro®, a leading AI field service platform trusted by home service professionals who have served 1 in 4 American homes, today announced the launch of Trades Thursday, a new annual nationwide event bringing home service professionals together to learn from one another, build local connections and share ideas for growing their businesses. The event builds on Housecall Pro’s ongoing investment in the people moving the industry forward through its Champion the Trades® program.

Taking place October 1, 2026, the inaugural Trades Thursday will feature more than 15 regional hubs across the country alongside locally organized meetups led by Housecall Pro Superpros. These events are free and open to all home service professionals, whether or not they are Housecall Pro customers.

“The trades are built on people sharing what works, whether that’s with their teams, their peers or the next generation of Pros,” said Roland Ligtenberg, Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer at Housecall Pro. “Trades Thursday is about bringing more of that knowledge and experience together so Pros can learn from each other and strengthen their businesses. Whether you’re running one truck or building a growing team, there’s a lot to gain from getting in a room with other Pros who understand the work, the challenges and what it takes to build a great business.”
